The fit is snug enough that the console doesn't rattle around at all, and the padding feels thicker than the price suggests. Zipped it shut after a week of daily commuting and there's not a scratch on the shell.
Tossed my handheld in a backpack for a weekend trip and it came out without a scratch — the padding inside really does its job. The zipper glides smoothly too, no snagging when I'm in a hurry.
The fit is spot on for my 34XX, snug enough that it doesn't slide around inside. I toss it in my backpack for commutes and the padding keeps it safe without adding bulk.
