Dropped it in my bag with keys and a water bottle and the little console came out scuffed-free, so the padding does its job. The bag itself barely adds any bulk, which I didn't expect.
Tossed the handheld in my bag for a weekend trip and it came out scratch-free. The pouch is snug enough that it doesn't slide around, which is exactly what I wanted for carrying it loose in a backpack.
The fit is exactly right for the console, no wiggle room at all, and the padding gives me peace of mind tossing it in my bag. Simple little pouch but it does the job.
