The fit is spot on—my handheld slides in snugly with no wiggle room, and the padding feels thick enough that I don't worry about it bouncing around in my backpack. Tossed it in my bag for a weekend trip and pulled it out scratch-free.
Tossed this in my backpack for a weekend trip and the handheld came out without a scratch. It's cut specifically for the RG505 so there's no sliding around inside, though the padding is thinner than I'd like for rough handling.
The fit is snug enough that the handheld doesn't rattle around inside, and the padding gives me peace of mind tossing it in my backpack. Only gripe is the zipper pull feels a bit flimsy, but for everyday storage it does the job.
